Bernard DeGrâce is a financial security advisor and a founding partner at Bervin Wealth and Insurance Solutions inc.
Bernard gains the most satisfaction from serving others. His previous career (12 years as a National Hockey League referee) helped him develop a unique perspective as he creates asset protection solutions designed specifically for clients earning substantial amounts of income and those who have acquired a significant portfolio of assets. His experiences range from dealing with successful family-owned businesses to the market of professional athletes.
Bernard understands that the next generation of wealthy families can be susceptible to an overwhelming abundance of capital, which can sometimes lead to an irresponsible transfer of values and principles. The first step towards helping these clients is awareness. Bernard believes that everything in your life exists because you first made a choice about something. He believes that we are responsible for all decisions in our lives. He strives on taking action today rather than waiting for tomorrow. He enjoys helping individuals and attempts to bring out the best in people while encouraging them to be genuine and inspire others.
Bern’s greatest strengths are his appreciation of the value of family and relationships combined with his infinite compassion for others. Clients of Bervin Wealth and Insurance Solutions trust that their personal and family business needs are of the highest priority and genuinely experience Bern's level of interest in their ongoing success.
Bernard graduated from the University of Moncton (1989) with a Baccalaureate in Education. He is a member of Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, and of the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF). Bernard is an active member of the community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of La Cité collégiale, the largest French-language college of applied arts and technology in Ontario. He also served as the past president of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Gatineau, Quebec. He currently lives with his wife and children in the Ottawa region in Ontario.
